If you liked Verci, consider checking out Lumn which I developed as well. Lumn adds music-syncing lighting and pairs very well with Verci

Verci does not sell your data, run analytics, or track you.

Stays on your Mac. The track Verci reads from Spotify or Apple Music — title, artist, artwork, playback position — is used on-device to place each word in time and to pull colours from the album art. Verci does not record audio and does not capture your screen. Your preferences are stored locally; your license key is stored in your Mac’s Keychain.

Leaves your Mac. Two things. First, lyric lookup: to show word-by-word timings, Verci requests the lyrics for the track that is playing, which means the track title and artist are sent to the lyrics provider. Second, license checks: your license key and a device identifier are sent to Polar to activate and revalidate your license. No account information is sent.

Payments. Polar is the merchant of record and handles your payment and billing details. Verci never sees your card.

What we retain. Billing receipts only, kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. No analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no third-party SDKs.

Your rights. Email us to request deletion of your license record.
